For best results, never leave your Epson printer without an installed cartridge -- even an empty one -- for more than an hour or so, because the ink -- the original or our refill ink -- will begin to gel to the consistency of honey, which will require multiple cleaning routines to clear.

Always refill before you are completely out of ink.

Instructions:
Important: Wear old clothes and work over newspapers or paper towels.

1. Insert the rivets into the rubber seals on the bottom of the cartridge, pressing in firmly.
2. Screw a needle on to the syringe and draw up 5ml of ink.
3. Insert the needle into the fill hole (through the label). Slowly inject the ink into the sponge. It is a good idea to withdraw the needle and re-insert it at different angles a few times while filling, in order to get the whole sponge filled with ink.
4. Seal the filling holes with a piece of tape to keep the cartridge from leaking.
5. Important: Remove the rivets from all exit ports.

Replace the cartridge and run 1 - 3 cleaning cycles as per printer instructions.

If necessary leave cartridge in printer for up to 24 hours.
